Happy New Year 2023! A new beginning with a new club board and adventure. As the new president, we will work to continue our growth…
Our board is here to serve the new and current members. We will be adding exciting drives to create comradery among members. We will also get our members more involved on leading drives. Plus, we are working hard to have a charity car show that we have missed, a couple of years now, due to Covid.
Central Chapter cars and coffee will be held in different locations to accommodate and meet other members from Corvallis and Albany. And, we will schedule a couple of Tech sessions to learn more about our cars and newer technologies.
Let’s make 2023, a good and an unforgettable year. As Porsche says, “There is No Substitute.“

Join us for our first Drive! of 2021 to Dallas City Park, home of the Delbert Hunter Arboretum & Botanical Garden. Assemble at Lowes on West 11th in Eugene at 9:00 am for sign-ins and a safety briefing. We’ll roll promptly at 9:30 am along familiar back road twisties and Kings Valley Highway. The Drive! official ends upon arrival at Dallas City Park. Members will be on their own for a picnic in the park or lunch at a nearby restaurant, as well as the drive home.
RSVPs to centralchapter@cascade-pca.org, masks, and social distancing are still essential. See you on the road!
We’re returning to the original venue for our monthly coffee gathering, beginning on the 7th of August. Once you get to Market of Choice, drive north past Pegasus Pizza and Office Max to the parking lot in the back. There is plenty of safe parking available. Coffee, goodies and restrooms are available inside Market of Choice. We’ll likely gather at the tables right in front of the store.
Join us for a drive through spectacular twisties along the Umpqua River, ending at Henry Estate Winery. Bring a picnic lunch or pick up a snack / light lunch at the Lighthouse Bakery, just before the winery. If you’d like to taste wine, the cost is $5 for 5 tastes, with the fee waived if you buy a bottle. We will have two drive groups from which you can choose: Enthusiast and Touring. Overall pace will be similar, but the Enthusiast group will feel a bit quicker. RSVPs to centralchapter@cascade-pca.org are essential.
Remember: Safe driving is always paramount.
