Welcome, 2025!
Another year has passed, and we welcome 2025. Thanks to our members for re-electing our previous board to serve for two more years. This year will be more exciting than last year. We are adding new volunteers to join our board, we will have exciting drives and joint events with other regions. We will open up another monthly Cars & Coffee on the coast.
We are looking forward to new volunteers to lead the drives. Our board members will strive hard to make 2025 better than our previous years. So hold tight and let the fun begin.
Special mention—we will miss the smile of my lovely wife Jackie on our drives, car events and Cars & Coffee that she supported.

Mckenzie Pass
The tour starts at 9:00am from Oasis Plaza, 2580 Willakenzie road, Eugene, Oregon. We will meet up at 9:00 am and leave at 9:30. The tour will drive Hwy 126 for approximately 60 miles. Then take historic Hwy 242 over Mckenzie pass. Stops along the way will include a picnic lunch, Dee Wright Observatory at the top of the pass, and other rest stops along the way. The tour will end in Sisters Oregon at the SnoCap Drive In which is known for their tasty Ice Cream treats.
Make sure you arrive with a full tank of fuel, a picnic lunch, warmer clothes for the top of the pass, and extra water.
Drive the back roads to the Lava Beds with a club provided picnic lunch
The tour will Stage at Oasis Plaza, 2805 Willakenzie Road, Eugene, Oregon. Saturday morning August 10th at 9:00am for a 9:30 departure.
Expect a longer drive with lunch At Steam Boat Inn.

Leave directly after the Cars and Coffee event on the 7th of September.
Drive Mckenzie view drive to Hill road then onto Marcola Road over the hill to Brownsville.
Then Lunch at Historic Kirk’s ferry.
Short Drive to the Smoke Illinois Valley Smoke Jumper museum. Lunch afterward.
