Welcome, 2025!
Another year has passed, and we welcome 2025. Thanks to our members for re-electing our previous board to serve for two more years. This year will be more exciting than last year. We are adding new volunteers to join our board, we will have exciting drives and joint events with other regions. We will open up another monthly Cars & Coffee on the coast.
We are looking forward to new volunteers to lead the drives. Our board members will strive hard to make 2025 better than our previous years. So hold tight and let the fun begin.
Special mention—we will miss the smile of my lovely wife Jackie on our drives, car events and Cars & Coffee that she supported.
Thank you, and Enjoy the Ride!

Join Mike and Robin Vanderford for a last drive of the season on Saturday, October 12th. We’ll meander the autumn countryside through Jacksonville and the Applegate valley and on to Merlin where we will take a quick journey north on I5 to the old ghost town of Golden (we will take a short rest stop in Murphy, never fear!). Golden is interesting as a gold mining town known for having 2 churches and NO saloons. We will spend awhile there seeing the few remaining buildings and learning a bit about its history. Then we’ll back-track a short way to the Wolf Creek Inn for lunch.
Meet at Barnes and Noble in Medford at 9:00 am for a 9:30 am sharp departure. RSVP’s are needed for the lunch reservation. Email Robin at address provided in Eblast message.
Annual Potluck hosted this year by Marilyn and Bob Van Heuit at the Sun Oaks Lower Clubhouse, 2485 Sun Oaks Drive, Medford. Main course will be provided. Please RSVP (numbers provided in separate eblast message) to coordinate side dishes.
We are fortunate to be able to visit the Eagle Point home of Gordon Joelson and his collection of cars which include Porsches and Ferraris. We will meet and drive to Gordon’s home by 2:00 PM, be regaled by Gordon, immerse ourselves in his collection, and then travel to Kaleidoscope Pizza for an afternoon and evening of Italian food and camaraderie. Please put this on your schedule. More details to follow.
Pizza and fun at the Kaleidoscope Pizzeria & Pub, Medford

No RSVP needed but make sure you introduce yourself to Carolyn when you come in. She’ll lead you on to the Pretzel making and eating extravaganza. Address, email and phone number will be provided in separate Eblast message.
